Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 1, 2026

Our Commitment

SIPCalculatorAI is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

Measures Taken

  • All interactive controls (sliders, inputs, buttons) have descriptive labels accessible to screen readers.
  • Color is not used as the sole means of conveying information — charts include text labels.
  • Minimum color contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for body text.
  • All images have appropriate alt attributes.
  • The site is fully navigable by keyboard.
  • ARIA roles and landmarks are used where appropriate.
  • Font sizes are user-scalable (responsive to browser zoom).

Known Limitations

Our canvas-based charts (bar chart, pie chart, SWP chart) are visual representations. We are working to add ARIA descriptions and data tables as accessible alternatives. The year-by-year data tables below each chart serve as a text-based alternative.

Feedback

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of SIPCalculatorAI. If you experience any barriers, please contact us. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.

Technical Specifications

SIPCalculatorAI relies on the following technologies for conformance:

  • HTML5
  • CSS (Tailwind CSS)
  • JavaScript (vanilla, no frameworks)

Assessment Approach

SIPCalculatorAI assessed accessibility through self-evaluation and testing with keyboard-only navigation and browser-based screen reader tools.
